San Diego Comic Book 2009 Day 0
This has been one of the most difficult yet very rewarding Comic Con for me. I'm always grateful that I live pretty close to Comic Con because lot of people from over the world are traveling long way to San Diego to check out the stuff at Comic Con, which is very plentiful. For example, there's always Australian woman who attends lot of same panels that I do.
I spent exactly 285 dollars this year at Comic Con, including parking fees and gas. I spent good deal of my money on independent comic books because I want to support those small independent publishers and also, I would like to see them to continue to produce very unique comic books. For example, I bought the one that had Jesus Christ used bad languages and used the guns to kill Hitler and Nazis people. Very entertaining.
So here's the pictures!

Arrive at Convention Center before 8 am because I had suspected the line would be long.

Ah shit, I'm right. The line was much longer than last year.

Brought the throw with me so I have something to lay on hard concrete.

Reading the book in line. I had loaded lot of videos on my iPod but the light was too bright so I had to turn to other avenues of self-entertaining.

Playing speed card game with my friend CJ, whose is an artist.

The line is being move to the inside of the building. Sweet!

CJ and I are being emo.

Aw, dammit.

Fuck me.

Texting and twittering like crazy. If you read my twitter on Day 0 of Comic Con, that's why I ramble a lot.

CJ is drawing to pass the time.

Light nap because I only slept an hour before I came to Comic Con, due to excitement. Reminds me of when I couldn't sleep well before I go to Disneyland. How nostaglic.

The main entrance to the building.

The line is being tightly controlled but this has its drawbacks. It didn't permit me to get first row of line, which I got last year. :(

Moments before I pick up my 4 days pass. This year was different because I actually had to provided my ID to ensure that I'm not a fraud. I saw someone registered under various cartoon characters. How amusing but I doubt it would work for him this year.

Next 5 hours of my life.

Goofing around.

Walking around to ease my boredom. Saw this couple, whose had cool steampunk costumes.

Moments before we enter the exhibition hall.

Sweet, I'm in!!!

Ah, I feel so home at here.

Very cool costumes!!!

Ready to go home for meal and rest.

Jesus, those Twilight fangirls. When I arrived at con center, they were already camping out, which is insane. They made first day of Comic Con pretty difficult. Only if Twilight panel would be in room 25 but that's meany inside me. 7 thousand scream fangirls in Hall H can't be any fun at all. :(
