Final Day of PMX (Or How I beat up the Dancing Samurai)

I was fortunate to able to sleep a little bit but not so much due to everyone being hyper in the morming.

So yeah I'm up. Thanks very much, guys.

Score one for my Soul Eater Evans cosplay!!

Yuffie is now awake.

Photobucket

"OMG I gotta go!"

Photobucket

Yuffie knocked on door, which prompts Marly to open and she force her way in and lock the poor guy out. It was so surreal to see Marly still have shaving cream on his head and I literally LOLed so hard at this scene.

Photobucket

"There, I feel so much better now."

Photobucket

Yuffie convinced us to take a shot of the liquor so we both did. It was pretty tasty but not my kind of drink.

Photobucket

Watching Sora styling her hair. I could never get tire of this routine.

Photobucket

OMG yes, I'm going to rock today!

Photobucket

Everyone is packing up now, even me. I put my stuff in truck to ease the progress in room.

Photobucket

That's Yuffie's, I think.

Photobucket

Packing up.

Photobucket

Heading back to PMX.

Photobucket

Sora with Red Bull.

Kingdom Hearts gathering!

Jrzil with Yuffie.

Kingdom Hearts gathering in CosFest room.

Michael is interviewing the fellow cosplayer.

Final picture that I snap at PMX.

Then Sora and I went to her place so we can rest up. We had a conversation about our thoughts on PMX and we agree that it's lacking in contents. I've been wanting for this year's PMX to be sooooo awesome but ultimately, it's disappointing in term of what con should be like. But I was able to meet lot of great people like The Legendary Ness Cosplayer, Honor, Jrzil, Ashley, and reporter kid again so it wasn't totally loss.

We discussed if PMX still stay in Pasadena next year then we'll skip it for sure. The location was just too inconvenient as hell and I dubbed it 'walky walky con', which is odd because I tend to walk a lot during con times, like SDCC and Anime Conji. My personal opinion is that PMX kinda focus on its budget on attract famous people from Korea and Japan instead of using that budget to make con more enjoyable for everyone since not everyone will see the famous people.

I find it strange that Anime Conji remains the singular best anime con I've been to and it's their first time earlier this year. It's because they have plenty of contents for everyone to feast on like video games, gundam building, art stuff, and photography gathering instead of one shotted whole thing.

Just fucking WOW me, PMX. I fucking dare you, PMX, because I know you can do it.

I'd like to end this blog on happier note. I was so happy that I was able to convince Honor to hit up PMX because we've been chatting for a while via FB and texting. I was very delight when I first saw him in person and I hang out with him most of the times at PMX. It was truly a pleasure to get know him and it was a privilege to hang out with him. If it wasn't for him, PMX would have been medicore or even dud. I'm glad that I was able to make PMX a great experience for him, even if PMX is so limited in contents. Someday, Honor and I will hit up the anime con with plenty of contents for us to play with. You're truly cool cat, Honor. :D
