SDCC '14 Day 2 (MG does things)

Yes, 5 am is so glorious.

How noir.

Met up with Tabitha on trolley. She's cosplaying for first time.

Too many people here for 6 am shift, lol.

David and Isaiah are chilling like a villains.

"Mon Jay, you gotta search for your people."

"I need something, dude."

"How you cosplay it up?"

That's Tony aka Legendary Ness Cosplayer.

Mike D in cosplay. I'm happy that he survived the lottery system on reg day.

Entering the exhibition hall now.

I texted Peter so I met him outside SDCC. I want to explore the offsite events so he's more than happy to join me.

So crowded!

Surely, you're jesting me.

Me with advertisement.

This line reminds me of Hall H line.

"Spinach is good for you, m'kay?"

Time to enter Nerd HQ!

Nice entrance.

Whoa, a nice place.

Peter is trying out new Miku game since he's fanboy of Miku.

Kinda crowded here.

Too scared to go in that one.

Nikki, this is for you.

Playing old school games.

I nearly soiled my pants.

Assassin's Creed obstacle course, yo. Peter and I saw the line, which is very long so we decide to check out Batman zip line next to Hilton Bayfront hotel.

Walking towards Hilton Bayfront hotel.

So cool exhibition.

Say hi to Batman zip line. I found out that it had 3 hours waiting in line.

Yep, it's out there somewhere.

Chilling with Peter in the hotel.
After small lunch, I bid Peter a farewell then walking back to SDCC for cosplay panels.

Waiting in line for Cosplay 101 panel. It was insane that the line was so long but the room was so tiny.

This lady was very feisty. But she's so nice and cool to me. I enjoyed our interaction.

I think he's drunk.

Cosplay 101 panel time!

This room is so tiny, man.

Next panel in same room is Cosplay Make up.

They would show the pictures of cosplayers and tell us how they did the particular make up. Very insightful.

This is Blake. I met him on reddit. Very nice guy.

Walking to Gaslamp again. I must be masochist or something.

Saw Ashley on left so I hung out with her.

Ashley and her group want to do laser tag so we went to 2nd floor. I saw Darryl so this is him. I said hi to him and took a selfie with him.

Wow.... a panel. But I didn't stay too long.

I want that one for the living room.

Nice viewing from higher floor at Petco stadium.
nWent back to the first floor of Nerd HQ. As you can see it's crowded and busy. Gotta love free admission.

The infamous Bandai booth.

Met up with Mark and Rita.

Mark and Jet.

Saw this guy. Had to grab a picture then a selfie with him.

"Ohhh, a shiny thing!"
Soon, I left them because I want to meet up at Jennice. She's going to Marvel gathering, which sounds fun.

The moment before Marvel gathering starts.

Marvel gathering time!

The audience for Cosplay Nerdist panel.

The panelists for Cosplay Nerdist panel. This was pretty great panel.

Moment before I ask them a question. They gave me pretty wonderful answers, which I greatly appreciated a lot.

Poor Gaslamp. So crowded as hella.

Natalie in pink. We had short interaction but we agreed to meet up for tomorrow, which is awesome.

Walking to Hyatt hotel to pick up a free t-shirt. I'm sucker for free t-shirts.

Chilling in this balcony in Hyatt hotel.

Met up with Jennice. I had no idea that she would be here so it's nice surprise.

Brian. I frequently see him on FB but he's not on my friends list. Moment after this picture, we added each other on FB.

We all decided to hit up Burger Lounge for food time.

Long line at Burger Lounge. Not surprised.

Richie now joined us.

Rich in gray shirt. I honestly didn't expect to run into him. We had a lengthy conversation about stuff. But it was so nice to see him again.

Pretty tasty.

I see Stan and Lucy in line.
Around this time, Rich brought Jenny to see me, which is a nice surprise. I hugged Jenny twice then got a selfie with her. It's so awesome. I'm happy that Rich did this, even if it was just for few seconds.

People sure love to camping, don't you think?

Rode in Venus' car. She dropped me off at Hazard Center where I parked. I'm very grateful that Venus drove me when she didn't have to. I appreciated this gesture very much. She's good people.
