Absolute final day at ALA Day 3

When I woke up, it really hit me that it was the last day today so I was very sad about it. I haven't felt this since I was a kid when I went to summer camp. It was pretty sad but I'm glad that I got to create a lot of wonderful memories with really cool folks. Good times, great memories. :)



Yeah, I'm up. I think I got better rest this time around.

Chilling with Alex and Sora. When I saw the final bill, I nearly..... soiled my pants. But I'm very grateful that Alex is allowing me to stay in the room with them for free. I made sure to thank her repeatedly so she know how much I truly appreciated it.

Also, I appreciated that I got bunch of free foods like pizzas and other stuff so I'm very grateful for that. I'm very aware that Alex is very shy girl but I give her a big hug to know that I appreciated everything that she has done for me. :)

After interacting with folks for a little bit, we went to the car to drop off the bags in his car and I chose to carry my backpack because I'm wearing yutaka so it would be convenient for me if I bring backpack with me whole time.

Group of cool cosplayers. One tactic I develop at the con is when if I see interesting cosplayers and I felt that they are not receive enough attention, I made sure to ask them for the picture in front of bunch of photographers so this way, they can get bunch of attentions. :)

Then I went to the ballroom floor to wander around and I saw Lia and other people were sitting on bean bags so I join them.

I told her that my conversation about her with Mark last night has increase my respect for her tenfold, hence the text she received from me. She seems to be so happy about seeing me again.

Then I went back to the lobby because I got bored.



I met up with Natalie again so I opted to hang out with her.

I tried to stay away from fairly common cosplays and try to do stuff that is not cosplay very often.

When I hung out with Andrea whole time, I thought she is a he and I didn't find out well after the con so it shows how awesome cosplayer she is. I'm glad that Andrea allow me to hang out with her the most of the times at ALA.

Then I saw Nathan, Marly's roommate, whose is wearing full military gear but is all wet. I ask him if I can get the picture of him but he suggest that he jump in the pool and do military stuff for the pictures. I was like......... sure, why not? This alone made my con experience. :D












I took a bunch of pictures because this was just so cool experience for me. I'm glad that Nathan is willing to do this for me so it truly make ALA a special one for me. It was so surreal when he was doing the military stuff in the pool so I had to record every movement he made.



Brittany and Angel again. I have always thought that they are among the stunning gorgeous girls I've ever seen in my whole life. Brittany saw me holding mayo can and ask me about it. I replied by pretending to lick it like what my character would and she was like.... gross. But it was all in good fun. :)

My time with Brittany and Angel at ALA may be limited but I'm very grateful that they are allowing me to grace in their presence.

Shawn is driving Tails, Alyssa, and me so I can imagine how hard driving was for him since Alyssa live in Anaheim and Tails live in Aliso Viejo area. He got really tired to the point where he had to stop at rest stop to take short nap.

I used this time to write him the letter to expressed my gratitude and he really appreciated the gesture.

In my opinion, ALA '12 is truly amazing.... but unfortunately, I cannot remember the programming/anime/panel stuff at ALA so it is hard for me to say that it's a great con. All I remember is truly amazing people whose made ALA for me.

When I chat with Mark, he said that he find the rooming with other people to be pretty difficult experience, due to the snorer and someone want to do something and drama stuff. He understood why Ryoga prefer to room up by himself at the cons. Also, he get it why I very rarely hit up out of town cons for overnight. This was my third out of town con overnight and this is best one for me.

I see some people at ALA that I don't get along with anymore so I just paid them no attention at all. That's how life goes on.

I find it very interesting that Ella is interviewing me when I was in my Jack Skellington cosplay and I didn't recognize her because she had interviewer outfit on, lol. But it was pretty neat time, that is for sure.

This may be Marly's last con on west coast so I'm glad that I got to chill with him for a bit. Also, I'm very happy that I gave him that letter. He later told me that me giving him the letter truly made the con so I'm very happy about that. He will always cherish it forever and it is not something that he will lose. This shows how much we have impact on each other.

Also, Nathan doing military stuff in pool is awesome highlight for me. It was so neat to see that kind of stuff.

I swam twice at ALA for 2 straight nights, which was very surreal experience but very enjoyable. 2nd night, I met few awesome folks so it was cool. Mark participated in zombie Marco Polo game, which was hilarious to see. I usually swim backwards and brisk in the awesome sight.

Lastly, I truly want to thank Andrea for allowing me to hang out with her a lot at ALA. She was the first one whom I met at ALA and the last person I hung out with so she will always remain in my memory. It was a truly pleasure to hang out with her and I sincerely hope that she can hit up Anime Conji with me and Natalie. :)
