SDCC 13 Day 3 (or how I nearly lose my mind)

Yes, I know...... 4 am is so awesome.



Parked at Hazard Center because Calina and I are planning to hang out together later tonight. It would be more convenient if we park our vehicles at same location so I can ride in her car to Mira Mesa then I can follow her to park at Marriott hotel later tonight.

I'm searching for Amber in pre-reg line. I haven't pre-reg since '10 so I completely forgot where the line is.



Ohhhh, this is the pre-reg line. Haven't been in this line since SDCC '05. How nostalgia.



Met up with Ramon and Amber. It's their first time at SDCC.



Me with Amber. Met her at last year's AX. I'm glad that she didn't get upset or feel offended when I told her that I'm kinda enamored with her.

I run back to my work station to get the program guide for them. I gave them very simple and basic instructions then they can figure it out for themselves. I did warned them that the middle of exhibition hall will be very crowded so they must be careful.

OMG, it's The Oatmeal!



Calina is now meeting up with me at The Oatmeal's demo. I feel bad for making her waiting for nearly an hour to meet up with me. I promise her that we would be hang out together all day today.



The Oatmeal is showing us how he use the computer to draw stuff for his comics. Also, he allows us to interacting with him by asking him various questions.

Gave Bordin his DBZ scouter, which makes him very happy guy. I'm glad that I can do this for him because he has been nothing but being super cool to me all these years. I do feel bad that I'm only limited to one commission from him every time we meet up at various cons.

Everyone is lining up so Alex Halcyon can take their pictures. This sight kinda fascinated me because the cosplay photographers usually don't do this type of stuff, to my knowledge.

This gathering was pretty crazy but it turns out to be awesome experience. It's so nice of Misha to interacted with the fans, even if it's only short time.

Samsung Galaxy S2 and S3.

I have an extended battery for my S3 but Calina doesn't have her S2 so her battery drains much faster because she's always online on it. Hence, her always borrowing my battery pack.



Pho! It's pretty tasty.



Calina dropped me off here at this Target in Mira Mesa since she's going home to showering and packing up for tonight's event. I spend my time reading the books on my Kindle in cafe.

Couldn't tell you what happen because I was sleeping like a madman. Boy, I must be super exhausted. I recalled that we were at Shirah's house but I just went back to sleeping.

Parked at Marriott hotel in Mission Valley. Trolley station doesn't allow the overnight parking, which sucks. But this is an ideal because this hotel has the shuttle bus so we can ride to SDCC.

I gave 2 water bottles to the girls so they can stay hydrate. I soon left them so I can go to Hunter's hotel room to showering because I really need it after the long day.

In Hilton Gaslamp. God, this is so nice hotel. I envy Hunter.



Me with Hunter. I'm thankful that he allowed me to shower in his hotel room. He's truly quality man and I'm glad that I got to met him in person since we talked to each other on Twitter a lot.

Drop some stuff off in my truck then head back to shuttle bus stop.



However, the shuttle bus stop at the Hazard Center and told us to get out. This was minor inconvenient so I just hit up the trolley station that is nearby.



Met up with Calina and Shirah once again.



I'm still amazed that people are willing to camping outside Hall H.



Writing a thank you notes to my supervisors. I want to show my appreciation to them and my passionate/commitment to the SDCC.

Today was pretty hectic and memorable day, that's for sure. But it was very enjoyable so I'm very happy about it. I'm surprised that I managed to get through this day with very minimal food and sleep.
