Exiting the Phoenix Comicon Day 2 (Or how I beat the heat and survive)
After first day, I was so thrilling because the con itself was wonderful so I couldn't sleep. This reminds me when I was a kid trying to sleep before going to Disneyland the next day. I wonder what kind of the surprises will PCC has in store for me?
I expect today to be solid day since it's Saturday, which is known as the main day for the cons.
Back to PCC again! After riding the light rail, of course.
You can feel the excitement energy in the air. I haven't felt this energy in so long time so it was wonderful sensation to experience again.
"That's why I gear up for today just so I can be prepare for anything."
Insane how lot of people are here before dealers room even open.
Furry! There's quite some of them at PCC and it was wonderful sight to see them.
To the dealers room! *roaring*
"Let me tell you about Homestuck."
Huge hit at PCC, I'm telling ya. He's super handsome fella.
Line for John Barrowman's autograph session. It was ridiculously long so I didn't bother with it.
TARDIS is huge hit among the attendees.
Penguin from Batman Returns!
I see you, John God Tier!
This fella is awfully popular, isn't he?
Again, I thought he would be at Fanime but I guess not, lol.
Team Badasses united!
Very awesome!
I really like her cosplay a lot so I had to stop her for a picture.
Very creative costume.
Only thing I bought from PCC dealers room, lol. But I want to get a copy of book just so I can have my favorite author sign it. I'm strictly ebook guy.
Brandon Sanderson's booth. Had a nice conversation with the lady at the booth.
"Would you like to go to hell with me?"
"We gonna rock this, yo!"
Very cool John God Tier cosplay.
Hetalia cosplayers. I notice that Hetalia is super popular at PCC.
Kefka!
Chilling and resting on third floor. I used this time to read the book that I just bought. I read the whole thing less than an hour, lol.
Pair of cute Hetalia cosplayers.
Magnificent view.
Food court, yes.
Want to order something but the line was ungodly long.
Halo again!
"We gonna mow those baddies down."
How kinky.
I really like this costume for some reason.
Bizarre costumes but they stand out a lot. They thanked me for taking their picture.
Artists' alley.
Very adorable stormtrooper.
Middle of dealers room, lol.
Amazing creative cosplay.
In line for Brandon Sanderson's autograph session. I had no idea that this line would be very long, lol.
I stood next to the booth that sells Fez hats, lol. Pretty surreal experience.
"Yeah, I think I may want to get one of those Fez hat."
Stuck in line but Brandon's fans are very friendly and chilling so it eases the experience for me.
Almost there!
Me with Brandon Sanderson! This completely made my whole experience at PCC. He was so friendly and gracious towards me. He signed my copy of Warbreaker, which I'm very thrilling about. Wonderful experience, that's for sure. :DDDDDD
Very attractive Homestuck cosplayer.
Saw her walking down so I had to stop her for the picture.
Chilling and drinking the water. Fortunately, there's a lot of water stations around so I don't have to worry about it.
Epic cosplays, yo.
Awesome BlazBlue cosplayers!
He's huge hit among the attendees, lol.
May be one of the greatest costumes I've ever seen in person. No jokes.
You can see his wings from waaaaay in back! Also, you can see how people are surrounding him, lol. Insane!!!
Finishing up the updates and stuff on my phone while eating sandwich.
You can see the baseball stadium. This layout reminds me of SDCC a little bit.
Still thriving. But I was tired at this point so I walk to the light rail since I need to leave the next day.
One trend I notice among PCC attendees is that it's popular to wear TV set on the head. I thought it was so fascinating. I must have seen like....... several of them at PCC wear TV set like a helmet. I'm very impressed with them.
Enjoying the view while riding the light rail.
It is very unfortunate that my time was only restricted to 2 days at PCC because I so throughly enjoy my experience at PCC a lot. So much that I am definitely coming back next year, that's for sure. Like I said, I mainly solo the PCC but I was never bored at all since there's so much contents for me to consuming that it's staggering.
Also, I find it regrettable that I was not able to attend the last day of PCC because of the fire evacuation. From what I heard, the people inside PCC building had to evacuating to outside because of the fire alarm then after some time, they were allow to go back inside. I would like to be part of this scene because it would have enhance my experience greatly. Ah, whose said that last day of con is dull? Lol.
I am truly impressed with Arizona cosplayers. They are so friendly and warm that it was a huge surprise for me. I'm not used to this type of the treatment from the cosplayers. Also, their costumes are truly top notch. Virtually all of them looks great that I was taken back by this.
I'm looking forward to attending Saboten later this summer so hopefully I can meet even more Arizona cosplayers.
PCC is among the greatest cons I've been to. :DDDDDDD
