SDCC '12 Day 4 (Final Crunch time)
Today was bit heavy on panels but I'm okay with that since I want to hit up those panels. Also, it's the last day so I strived to make every moment count so I can have good memories for me to cherish for rest of my life.
Yep, being Shinra of DRRR!
Waiting for silly trolley.
So many people at 8 am. :(
David in awesome cosplay.
Me at Viz booth. I got a year subscription to Shonen Jump Alpha so I'm excited about it. They promise me that I'd get free digital copy of Blue Exorcist but that never happen but I don't mind. I just want to support the industry, that's all. When I paid for the subscription, the worker said that out of people who signed.... I have the best and cleanest signature so that it made my day, lol. Very cool workers.
Yep, Viz booth. :DDD
Chatting with this guy about Marvel comics and movies. Very pleasant guy. Made my morning for sure.
Finally, the sun come out!
To the exhibition hall!
Marvel booth. It's pretty huge booth, lol.
Met up with Rich Cassidy, the owner of Aggressive Comix. Met him on Twitter last year before SDCC '10. I was among the first fans whose has been supporting Aggressive Comix.
To the Hall H!
The infamous Hall H!
Sooooo crowded.
Supernatural panel! This reminds me to catch up on it on Netflix, lol. It was enjoyable panel and it make me want to watch it since I have only seen few episodes.
Doctor Who panel! OMG OMG OMG!
This is the highlight of the con for me! :DDD Soooo fun panel.
This is Alisha in Harley Quinn costume. Very cool chick. Hope she can go to SDCC next year for sure.
Then I race back to disabled service table to sign up for being staff next year.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer panel!
The actors and writers of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
Nicholas Brendon was so well received by the audience.
When the panel was over, we were now watching the musical episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
Good times! :DDD
Leaving SDCC for last time. I thanked those at disabled services table and I'm glad that I wrote few thank you cards for some of them. :)
Met up with Merry and Jet.
Going to IHOP with Homestuck kids plus Merry and Jet.
Chilling at IHOP with friends for a bit before taking the trolley.
When I run to the trolley, I did not expect to run into the interpreter there, lol. Her name is Julie so we had a brief chat about SDCC and my blog. It was a pleasure. I'm so thankful that the wheelchair person slow down the trolley which enable me to catch the trolley in time.
My meal at chinese buffet. Very good stuff.
I believe that SDCC '12 is one of the greatest cons I've been to, next to SDCC '08, ALA '12, and Anime Conji '11. Everything I learn from my previous con experience and I apply that to SDCC '12, which succeeded on several levels. It was totally unexpected for me but it results in fantastic experience for me and I'm truly happy that I change my approach this time.
But I'll comment about something.... SDCC has to be the most coldest con I've been to and I've been to multiple cons, lol. But I think it's good because it prevent from people sweating and stink up the place so that's good.
SDCC '12 represents my 25th con overall and 9th con of this year but it has been nothing but sheer amazing time for me.
In conclusion, SDCC '12 is truly the epic of the epics to end all of the epics known to the mankind. :DDD
