PMX '12 (Or how it went out with big bang!)
Truthfully, I was not looking forward to PMX '12 because it represents my 14th con of this year and my 30th con overall. 14 cons in 11 months is quite staggering, if you think about it but somehow I managed it. But as PMX '12 approach, I decide that I'd take very flexible and loose approach to it by having a empty mindset. It's an experimental approach for me but I want to see if it would work out or not.
It's my 4th year going to PMX so it's nice for me to see friends whom I haven't seen in some time. Also, PMX '12 represents a significant milestone for me and Mark, which is that we are able to eat at Brian's, albeit at the different location, for first time in 4 months. Honestly, it was so nice to see old staff and good quality foods.
So let's start with the blog, shall we?
The day before Mark and I hit up PMX '12, we made a plan, which is to pick him up then hit up Brian's for a meal then chilling at my place. Very chilling plan. I introduced Mark to Game of Thrones, which he seems to enjoy a lot. It's super good stuff, that's for sure.
Mark and I got up at 6 am and had cereal for breakfast so we are ready to hit the road. Ugh, 2 hours of driving really sucks. X.X Luckily, I've been to PMX's location several times so the driving wasn't too bad for me.
It took me a while to find the parking spot but on last level, someone was pulling out their car from vacant spot so I secured that spot like madman. Victory! Mark was like, "You da man!"
Yep, I'm the badass mofo!
To the registration area! Heather was directing the line so we chat for a little bit. It was so nice to see her again. I hope that we can develop a good rapport.

My first time seeing insanely high level fighting game. Both of them are so amazing!

Bordin is drawing John God Tier commission for me. So nice to see him again. There was bit of a communication issue but we got through it so it's all good.
He told me to remind Mark of his debts so I told Bordin that I'd text him right away. In reference to Game of Thrones, I texted to Mark that "Prices always pay their debts."
I think Bordin and Mark are cool now since Mark drop like 140 bucks on him, which is insane amount. I guess that Bordin is happy that he met me since he wouldn't have met Mark for sure, lol.

Omar, Nicole, and John are all hanging out together. Nicole seems to be very excited about seeing me again. I was like, wow, a high level cosplayer is excited to see me again? That's a first for me, lol.
Omar and I are chatting little bit. Then I talk to Nicole about how we should kidnap Autumn, her best friend, so we can take her to have fun at the cons. Nicole seems to agree with that plan.
Meeting up with the gang again.
Planning out the photo shoot together. They seems to admire each other a lot and they truly challenge each other on artistically level, which is very neat.
Meeting up with Laura. Our time together was rather brief compared to last year's PMX but still, I'm very happy to see her again. It was very nice to see her again and I'm happy that she made the time to see me, even if it's for short time.

My line neighbor, Adam. He's super cool cat. He made the whole experience very pleasant so it's all good.
Mark wasn't in line for long. He had the other stuff to do and he completely miss out the chance on securing the ticket, which sucks a lot.
Sometimes, technology can be good thing.
I kept myself occupied by reading the books on my smartphone and writing in my mini journal to describing my thought process.
The line got really huge!
It was around this time when I frantically text Mark to get in line now. I'm surprised that the texts got through because the screen was sticky as hell.
Also, the staff had to move us inside because it was raining today so it's very nice of them to consider our health.
Been in this line for last few hours, lol.

We chat about EQLA, which is brony con, and he told me how fun it was.
The concert! Unfortunately, I did not really expect that the strobe lighting would make me very queasy so I was only able to recording 4 minutes worth of footage.
Honestly, the experience at the concert was very magical and I'm just upset that the strobe lighting really got to me. I had to leave the concert after half an hour.
Run into Lia and we had brief chat. I was surprised to see her at PMX since she said that she don't plan on going. It was a pleasant surprise.
I tried to down few cups of water to ease my queasy but it did not work. I elected to hit up Carl Jr for some greasy food. As soon I got my food, I got violent ill, which leave me in rather very poor condition for some time afterwards.
Was only able to down french fries but can only manage to eat half of the burger, which irked me.
I text quite few urgent messages to Mark but he was in the gaming room so that place don't get the signal. So I sent out the texts to Omar and Ryan to let them know that I wasn't feeling well. Mark got me water and advil while Ryan kept me company and Omar hooked me up with pocky to give me some sugar.
Honestly, I'm very glad that those guys came when I truly need them so I appreciated it a lot. Honestly, I cannot thank them enough and I'm very blessed to count them as my close friends.
Omar had to go because he had a panel that is coming up soon. Still, I will never forget his gesture, which means a lot to me.
Mark want to chat with some folks in lobby so Ryan stay with me the whole time. But Mark made sure to point out that Beautiful Sora is cosplaying as Naruto and I saw her downstairs. For some weird reason, I instantly feel better now, lol. But I chose not to interact with her or some other people downstairs because I still wasn't feeling well plus I don't want to make it super awkward for some certain people.
