Comikaze '12 Day 2 (Gangnam Style, yo!)

When I woke up around 8 am or so, I was surprised that I did not have hangover, which I'm very relieved about. I believe that the subway sandwiches we had help to soak up the alcohol. Also, we only drank hard liquor with no additional liquor. Then we drank the water afterwards so this is great move on our part. This enable us to start the day with no issues. Photobucket We just go ahead and hit up the pool for an hour just because we can. I have never tried swimming in the pool on 4th floor in the morning so why not? We had a great time so it was just fun mellow time for us. Every friggin' con need to be like this! Photobucket Dressing up for the day. Photobucket Packing up session. Photobucket Walking to pizza place, only to find it to be closed. Then we tried to hit up the IHOP but it was so full so we went to this mall and luckily, Carl Jr was open. Photobucket I ordered Double Western Bacon Cheeseburger while Mark ordered 2 burgers. Good start to the morning! Photobucket Say hi to 1,000 calories meal! Mark's burgers total in about 1,400 calories or so, lol. But this should help us throughout the day at Comikaze. Photobucket All pack up and ready to hit up the con. We checked out then we walk back to my truck to put the stuff in. To my shock, my truck was not towed nor was it ticketed so I'm very relieved about it. I was just so shocked that I can leave my truck overnight at con center and not get in trouble for that. Photobucket Dealers room again! :D I first hit up Blake's booth to give her US dollar coin as a souvenir. I commented that it's not in widely circulating so I thought that it would be awesome. We had a short chat then I went ahead and do my own stuff. Photobucket Epic! :DDD Photobucket Main stage! But I felt that it would be much better if they move it to area in West Wing to make it easier on the attendees. Photobucket Why, yes, it's the obstacle course. Photobucket OMG, it's the Activision center! Photobucket "Hi, Wall-E, how can I help you?" Photobucket Very neat sight at Comikaze. This would not happen at SDCC, due to the crowd issues. Photobucket Quidditch time! Photobucket Photobucket Chilling with Bordin for a bit. Photobucket Chilling with Ryan in South Hall. Photobucket Bleach cosplayers! Photobucket Photobucket Going into Dealers Room to find Kenpachi. Photobucket South Hall again! Photobucket Ichigo with his blade. Photobucket Mark is chilling with cool chick cosplayer. Photobucket WTF? XD Photobucket Photobucket Chilling with Nicole and photographers. There's one guy whose has camera equipment that cost up to 50K, which is insane. Photography sure is expensive. X.X Photobucket "How are we going to shooting Nicole?" Photobucket "Well, Nicole, this is nice shot but I need you to do this pose." Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Watching an epic photo shoot before my eyes. I now have huge appreciation for high level cosplayers whose does this type of photo shoot on regular basis. What she does would have bored me really fast. Also, I have huge appreciation for a photographers whose are trying to make amazing pictures in rather limited environment. Also, I can't imagine the editing pictures since it's super time consuming. But I'm just happy that they let me watch the whole thing for 2 straight days. Photobucket You know how I know this con is awesome? When Pokemon gym trainers are laying down on the floor. Photobucket Mark is going Gangnam Style with fellow cosplayers. Photobucket Resident Evil gathering. The cosplay gatherings at Comikaze weren't well organized, save for Bleach. Photobucket I bid final farewell to Blake Northcott. *sniffing* She's truly awesome chick. I must have hug her like... 15 times, lol. It was great experience for me. Photobucket Photobucket Jurassic Park cosplayers! They're now well known because of their exploits at last year's Comikaze and you just cannot imagine Comikaze without them at all. It's nice to see Comikaze to have memorable characters like them. Photobucket Bleh, driving on the highway is no fun. X.X It was so funny to see Mark fall asleep then look super surprised when his brother called him on his phone. We went to chinese buffet for post-con meal, which is always super tasty. Honestly, I had a great time at Comikaze. I hope that they would listen to the fans and work out the kinks then they should be fine. This was truly epic con for me and I'm just happy that I'm able to produce great memories with wonderful people. There's one moment that I'll cherish forever is when this cute girl recognized my Shinra cosplay and ask me for the picture. She seems to be so happy and has commented that she love my character so much. It's something that I'll always relish and this confirm my suspicion that as long I solely cosplay for myself, everything should be fine. To the next year's Comikaze! XDDD
