San Diego Comic Con '17 Day 2 (Uber Edge)

Parked at Old Town station and waiting for the trolley to come.

Met 2 deaf people on the trolley. Very awesome. I chatted with them about SDCC.

Went to Marriott hotel to rest before my shift starts. I used this time to meditate and stretching so I can be ready for the day.

My shift now starts.

I was given the quest to delivering the key to specific room.

Wasn't easy quest so I had to protect the key on constant basis.

And...... my quest is all over! Time to return back to home base.

On the way back to home base, I ran into Ryan again. I went to exhibition hall to help out newbies since they had no idea what to do. I took them to exhibition hall so they can lose themselves in that room. Very fun to see their reaction.

Back to home base. This is a service dog of my supervisor. Very beautiful dog. Mixture of Husky and German Shepherd, I think.

"Yeah, I got this."

Went to exhibition hall after my shift. I want to visit my favorite author.

That's Blake Northcutt. When she saw me, she stood up to give me a big hug. She thanked me for my support all these years. She enjoyed my FB posts, which made me happy. I bought couple of copies of her stuff and she signed them.

After Blake, I met up with Peter and we went to my favorite artist in artists alley.

That's Bordin. I have been commissioned him for last 8 years and he's fantastic artist.

Bordin is working on my request while Peter is watching him.

Wow, Bordin got mad skills.

Walking to Marriott hotel to rest up.

Chilling in anime room. I ate lunch then took a short nap. I'm so thankful for anime rooms at SDCC.

Received a message from Chelsea so I went back to SDCC to meet up with her.

We met at Blizzard booth since it was pretty easy location to find. It was terrific to see her again. We mostly chilled around and talk about various stuff.

RIP our feet.
Still, it was so nice to spend quality time with Chelsea. I just wish that we can chill more because she's that super awesome. But soon, we had to part ways, which saddened me very much.

After Chelsea, I lined up for Duck Tales panel. I was bit worried that I may not get in because the line is so long.

Wow, I got lucky! I'm now inside. But I suspected that there's a lot of Doctor Who fans here. They're only here because of David Tennant, whose is 10th Doctor. He voiced as Scrooge for Duck Tales.

I'd bet that maybe 90 percent of them are Doctor Who fans. :P

Promo for Disney channel.

Duck Tales, yes! I grew up on it so I'm curious how new version would look like.

That's 10th Doctor in green shirt. He's hella handsome in person. Lot of fangirls went crazy for him.

David Tennant being witty.
I thought this panel was bit hilarious since there's no interests in Duck Tales, only for David Tennant. You know how fangirls are.
But there's one part I like the most about this panel is how Tennant deals with specific request. Someone asked him to voice Scrooge but Tennant said he cannot do it without the script. So the writer whose sit next to him hastily scribbled down on paper then handed it to Tennant whose voiced it out. I thought it was so neat.

Walking to manga panel.

Yay for manga panel! But I'm bit sad that anime and manga panels have decreased at SDCC in recent years. I used to spend all day in anime and manga panels at SDCC. I really miss that a lot.

The panelists are discussing the difference between US and Japan in how they create superheroes. Very neat and insightful.

Why yes, I like magical girls a lot.

Helping out Amanda whose is on left side of this picture. I was on lobby floor when I ran into her. She didn't know where Petco stadium so I offer to guide her there. She accepted my help. Her friends were there for party or something like that.

Dealing with Gaslamp.

This area is where her friends are. Amanda thanked me for my help. I hope she had a blast at this event.

This is my favorite sign at this year's SDCC.

Went to front desk to cancel the panel since my friends opted to go to Overwatch panel.

Inside Overwatch panel now. I feel like I'm a poser/fake for being in this panel since I don't play Overwatch but I admired Blizzard for making super high quality games.

This guy played trumpet before the panel starts. So random.

Overwatch design team. They're there to discussing about how they make heroes by using Doomfist as an example.

Rough draft to final draft. Very neat.

The scale of heroes in Overwatch.
Very insightful panel. Game design isn't easy.

Got free Doomfist foam. All praise freebies.

Going home. Had to endured crowded trolley for 10 minutes before I get off at Old Town station.
Duck Tales panel stood out the most for me. It was so fascinating how different fandom would hijacked other panel that isn't even relate to their fandom.
