Phoenix Comicon '16 Day 3 (or how I got to hang out with awesome people)

Waiting for Light Rail to come.



Getting off the Light Rail. My current objective is to go to North Hall to obtain my Saturday badge.



They shut down this street so it's easier for sponsors to set up their own stuff plus this lets people to move between the buildings freely.

This is the sitting room, which is right next to the reg area. They finally have the programs so I got the copy. I read through the program in this room, waiting for dealers room to open.

Holy shit! So many people here. This was the moment when I realized that PhxCC is bona fide super comic con.

As a fan of photography, I find this process to be interesting experience. Also..... it was so bloody hot.

I had a received a text from Kyler. We had planned to meet up at PhxCC for some time now. He said that he's in sitting room in North Hall so I bid farewell to Alex. Getting to North Hall from third floor is pretty brutal, due to the crowd and layout.



Meeting up with Kyler! When we first saw each other, we gave each other a long greeting hug. So nice to see him again.



Bunch of Kyler's friends. A guy in basketball outfit said that we were in same class together. Wow, didn't know that.



Kyler is showing me something on his phone. We used this time to catch up on each other's lives. It was so great to chatting with him in person.



This is Eliot, one of Kyler's friends. Eliot is cosplaying Ren from DMMD. They look so fantastic in it. I was slightly enamored with Eliot.



Kyler was telling me about him and Bee. It appears that they both dig each other so I'm rooting for them.

The one in blue is Camy. Through Kyler, I learned that her boyfriend is basically Gouda from The Love Story. When I saw the pictures of him, I was stunned that he is actually Gouda.

Around this time, everyone in the group except for Kyler is going back to the hotel to changing into different cosplays.

Going outside with Kyler. He's hungry so he want to get something to eat. But 118 degrees weather is making it impossible.



We ended up going back inside the con center. He grab a slice of pizza and we just chilled. He remarked that his pizza tastes so boring.



Chilling with Kyler for the last time. We had a wonderful chat so it was nice. My biggest regret is that we didn't have enough time to chill with each other. It sucks. I soon had to leave him, which saddened me greatly.

I think Phoenix Comicon '16 is just wonderful con. If Alex and Kyler didn't went, I think I would have great time anyway. PhxCC has lot of contents so I'm not hurting for it. That said, it was so pleasure to just to chill with quality people. Through Alex, I got to meet Kylee and Spider-Gwen. Through Kyler, I got to meet Ivy, Eliot, and Camy.

PhxCC '16 is probably one of my top 5 con experiences because of how incredible it was. I'm just so happy that I came here. AZ cosplayers are something special. I'd love to hang out with them more.

Can't wait to go back to PhxCC next year. Hope I can go to more AZ cons.
