San Diego Comic Con '16 Day 0 (or beginning of the Chaos/Chill era)
This year's SDCC represented my 12th SDCC so far. I find it fascinating that I'm able to go to SDCC for this long. It should be noted that I have been a volunteer for SDCC for last 6 SDCCs. There's a plus and minus of being a volunteer. But I'm just grateful that I'm able to go to SDCC. That said, I do miss the old days of being regular attendee where I can just focus on my own personal amusement and not worrying about other stuff.

Tried to park at Old Town station but had to switched to Fashion Valley Center. For remainder of SDCC, I always parked at Old Town station. This stop is the most closest to the convention center. I don't want to endure crowded Trolley ride anymore so Old Town station is the best choice.

SDCC, I have returned!

Getting my badge. So nice not having to wait in line like regular attendee.

That's Tabitha. One of her arts made it into souvenir book. So proud of her.

So nice to be here.

My shift has started.

Chatting with Alex.

Steven on the left, Will on the right. Steven represented my longtime SDCC friend. We first met at SDCC '07, I believed. It's always so nice to see him every year. Will is the head of disabled services. He's good guy whose has done so much for SDCC.

"Yeah, I got stuff going on."

Matt is being silly here. Here, we're setting up the table.

It's getting crowded now.

Going outside with Matt. He want to get some foods.

Walking in downtown.

Matt is getting sandwich from Subway since other food places upped their prices during SDCC.

Chilling around Omni hotel, watching people being in awe by this statue. I used this time to buy 5 day trolley pass.

I'm now intrigued by this show because I'm a fan of Kristen Bell.

Walking back to SDCC.

Navigating our way through the crowds.

Chilling with Matt.

Getting ready to enter the exhibition hall.

Before entering the exhibition hall, I met up with Mon Jay. We had a long discussion about our volunteering experiences.

I'm inside the exhibition hall!

So roomy!

PowerPuff girls!

Bunch of people now have entered the exhibition hall.

After 15 minutes of being in exhibition hall, I opted to go home early to rest up.

Heading to the trolley station.
It was pretty chill day with minimal issues. But when I got home, my legs were completely destroyed so I felt that I made a right decision in going home. I was lucky that I had a late shift tomorrow so I can rest up.
